There’s something deeply satisfying about creating treats that feel both indulgent and nourishing. These Coconut Chocolate Fat Bombs became one of my favorite wellness desserts—rich, creamy, chocolatey, and surprisingly simple to make.
Originally shared during my explorations into low-sugar, energy-supportive recipes, these little bites deliver the perfect balance of healthy fats, cacao, and coconut goodness. Whether you’re looking for a midday boost, a post-dance snack, or a guilt-free dessert moment, this recipe remains an old favorite for good reason.
And yes—this vintage 2018 video of me making them in the kitchen still makes me smile. Some recipes are timeless.

Coconut Chocolate Fat Bombs : Nourishment Meets Indulgence
What You’ll Need:
- 8 tablespoons coconut butter
- 8 tablespoon unrefined coconut oil
- 8 tablespoons raw cacao powder
- 6 tablespoons collagen powder
- Dash of Sea Salt
- 2 droppers full of Sweet Leaf Stevia (Vanilla or English Toffee are my favorites)
- 24 piece silicone mold
Directions:
- Melt the coconut butter and coconut oil together over low heat, stir consistently to avoid burning.
- Slowly stir in the cacao powder, a little at a time, to avoid clumps.
- Stir in the collagen powder in a similar fashion.
- Add a dash of salt and stevia to taste.
- Once everything is melted into a heavenly chocolatey lava, spoon a tablespoons-worth into each cup in your silicone tray.
- Sprinkle in any additional goodies you might enjoy such as nuts or seeds.
- Place mold in freezer for 5-10 min. *If your mold is too floppy to hold its shape you can lay it on top of a cookie sheet before filling.

Why I Love These Coconut Chocolate Fat Bombs
Some recipes become favorites because they’re complicated and impressive. These Coconut Chocolate Fat Bombs are the exact opposite. I love them because they’re incredibly simple, come together in just minutes, and satisfy those moments when only chocolate will do.
One of my favorite things about this recipe is that it delivers rich chocolate flavor with almost no effort. A few ingredients, a quick stir, and a few minutes in the freezer are all it takes to create something that feels surprisingly indulgent.
For me, recipes like this are a reminder that not everything has to be complicated to feel special. Sometimes a few good ingredients, a little creativity, and five minutes in the kitchen are all it takes.
The Beauty of Everyday Rituals
I’ve always believed that the little things we return to again and again help shape the rhythm of our days. A favorite recipe, a morning walk, a cup of tea enjoyed in a quiet moment, or a simple treat tucked away for later can become small rituals that bring comfort and familiarity to busy seasons of life.
These Coconut Chocolate Fat Bombs have become one of those rituals for me. Not because they’re complicated or extraordinary, but because they’re easy to make, enjoyable to share, and always waiting when I need a little moment of indulgence. Sometimes the simplest pleasures are the ones that create the most lasting memories.
I’ve found that beauty often lives in these everyday moments—the experiences, traditions, and small comforts that help us slow down and appreciate life as it unfolds.
