Some collections begin with a sketch.
This one began with a journey.
When I traveled through Egypt, I found inspiration in places I hadn’t expected. It wasn’t the famous landmarks that stayed with me most—it was the quiet beauty woven into everyday life. Hand-painted symbols on village walls. Layers of weathered plaster. Iron gates worn by time. Earth softened by sun and river.
Those moments stayed with me long after I returned home.
The Desert Oracle + River Rock collection is my interpretation of that experience.

A Story Written in Symbols
Desert Oracle was inspired by the painted Bedouin motifs I discovered in Aswan. Moons, stars, protective eyes, diamonds, and geometric forms have decorated homes for generations, carrying stories, traditions, and meaning across time.
Rather than recreating them exactly, I wanted to capture their spirit.
Each graphic was hand drawn and thoughtfully arranged to feel both ancient and modern—bold enough to make a statement while remaining timeless enough to become part of your everyday wardrobe.
Shaped by the River
Alongside those symbolic designs came another source of inspiration: the Nile itself.
River Rock reflects the smooth, weathered stones found along its banks. Soft mineral tones, faded charcoal hues, and our signature grunge wash create a finish that feels naturally lived in, as though every piece has already collected stories of its own.
These are the fabrics and silhouettes I reach for most—comfortable enough for everyday life, but elevated through thoughtful details and careful construction.
The Photoshoot
Finding the right location mattered just as much as designing the collection.
We chose weathered architecture, textured stone, peeling plaster, and hand-painted walls because they echoed everything that inspired these pieces in the first place. The setting wasn’t meant to imitate Egypt—it was meant to evoke the feeling of places shaped by time.
The contrast became one of my favorite parts of the shoot.

Every element worked together to tell the same story.
